Joel Greenaway

Director, Finance at Juro

Joel Greenaway has over 15 years of experience in finance and strategy. Joel is currently the Director of Finance at Juro, a legal tech startup. Prior to joining Juro, Joel was the Head of Finance & Data at MyTutor.co.uk, a leading online tutoring platform in the UK. At MyTutor, Joel was responsible for building budgets, forecasts, and long-term planning models, as well as ongoing monitoring of financial and non-financial performance indicators.

Before their role at MyTutor, Joel was the Finance and Strategy Lead at First Mile, a waste management company. In this role, Joel was responsible for deep data analysis and building ad-hoc financial models to analyse new business opportunities affecting the UK and Canadian marketplaces. This work led to an ongoing review of the current business structure and future market positioning. Joel also developed improvements to the budget and forecast processes, which included designing, testing, documenting and implementing appropriate modelling functionality in Cognos TM1.

Prior to First Mile, Joel worked as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for Audible, Inc. in the UK and Canada. In this role, Joel was responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analysis for Audible’s operations in both countries.

Before joining Audible, Joel worked as a Product Manager at Lloyds Banking Group. In this role, Joel was responsible for managing a team of product managers and analysts who were responsible for developing and delivering new products and features for Lloyds’ retail banking customers.

Joel has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of London and is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW).
