Emma Hruby

Emma Hruby has worked in a variety of roles in the sports industry since 2015. Emma began as an Athletic Training Intern for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders Hockey Team in 2015, then became a Varsity Swimmer for Northwestern in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Freelance Writer for FloSports and an Executive Producer/Editor for NNN Sports. In 2019, they were a Content Marketing Intern for Wilson Sporting Goods Co. and in 2021, they worked as an Associate Editor/Social Media Producer for Just Women's Sports and a Freelance Writer for Athletes Unlimited. Currently, they are a Social Media Specialist for ESPN.

Emma Hruby attended Northwestern University from 2016 to 2020, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism. Emma then returned to Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Sports Administration, expected to be completed in 2022.
