Rafael Pacas

Rafael Pacas is a Senior Data Engineer at Justworks, where responsibilities include architecting and implementing a Managed File Transfer solution that automates the ingestion of CSV reports from SFTP servers into Snowflake. Previously, Rafael served as a Data Engineer at Justworks, creating a monitoring dashboard for the data warehouse and delivering the first dbt model in the organization. Rafael's prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Data & Analytics Engineer at DoSomething.org, where a successful proof of concept for migrating a data warehouse from PostgreSQL to Snowflake was led, as well as positions at General Assembly as a Web Development Immersive Lead Instructor and at PublicStuff as a Software Engineer. Rafael began a career in technology as an IT Manager and Junior Developer at Global Energy Efficiency Corp. and holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from SUNY Westchester Community College.
