Felix Ayala-Fierro

Felix Ayala-Fierro is an ABT-certified and RSB/BTS EU-registered toxicologist with extensive experience in product stewardship and regulatory affairs across the chemical and consumer product industries, including personal care, household products, and tobacco. Currently serving as the Director of Risk Assessment at Juul Labs since September 2019, Felix leverages technical expertise to guide product development and commercialization through US EPA and FDA pathways. Previous roles include Principal Scientist at ITG Brands and Research Fellow in Toxicology at Henkel Consumer Goods, with substantial contributions to toxicological assessments, risk evaluations, and safety communications. Felix's early career included a position as Senior Toxicologist at Nalco Water, focusing on product registration and safety training, as well as a Graduate Research Associate at the University of Arizona, where research on heavy metals and toxicological methodologies was conducted. Felix holds a Ph.D. in Toxicology and Pharmacology from the University of Arizona, alongside a Master's degree in Toxicology and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry.
