Irmantas Marozas

Irmantas Marozas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies.

Starting in 2013, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Thanet Hotel for a short period.

In 2014, they joined Accenture as a Software Engineer. In this role, they developed a PHP defect management dashboard for a large UK Telecoms client. Irmantas also focused on improving the defect lifecycle and providing management information reporting to senior management and stakeholders. Irmantas worked in this role until September 2015.

From July 2016 to October 2018, Irmantas served as a Site Reliability Engineer and Solutions Architect at Accenture. Irmantas was responsible for maintaining and improving the Accenture DevOps Platform, developing serverless solutions, and implementing Ansible CI/CD pipelines. Irmantas also played a key role in standardizing deployment processes.

In October 2018, Irmantas transitioned to the role of DevOps/Systems Engineer/SRE/Solutions Architect at Accenture's Financial Services division. Here, they implemented FBE (Feature Branch Environments) and led overall DevOps delivery and implementation for a high-profile project. Irmantas took ownership of the full DevOps tooling stack and CI/CD solution for application and infrastructure deployments. Irmantas also designed and implemented a three-layered infrastructure using Terraform and introduced serverless app deployment using AWS ECS Fargate.

Most recently, Irmantas joined Juvare in September 2020 as a Senior DevOps Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Principal DevOps Engineer in April 2022. At Juvare, they architected, designed, and implemented industry-leading Cloud Solutions following best-of-breed Cloud Architecture and DevSecOps practices. Irmantas took full ownership of the design, implementation, automation, and maintenance of new solutions. Irmantas also designed, implemented, and maintained large-scale mission-critical solutions in AWS following industry standards and best practices, including the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Irmantas Marozas completed their education in the field of software engineering. From 2012 to 2016, they studied at the University of Greenwich and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Software Engineering. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they attended Harrow College and obtained a BTEC National Certificate in Software Development. In addition to their formal education, Irmantas has also obtained several certifications related to Amazon Web Services (AWS). In June 2018, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, and in April 2021, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification. Irmantas also obtained the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification in June 2018.
