Joshua S.

Joshua S. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2011, they started their own freelance audio engineering and production business called Shibby Productions™ Studios. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Marketing Campaign Manager and Brand Ambassador at Piedmont Elite Marketing, Inc. In 2017, they held multiple positions, including Store Leader (Management Training Program) at GameStop, North Carolina Real Estate Broker at Keller Williams Realty, Inc., and Buyers Specialist at Hergenrother Realty Group. During the same year, they also started working at Enterprise Holdings, where they held several management roles before transitioning into the role of Assistant Branch Manager. In 2020, they became a freelance Full-Stack Web Developer before joining The Social Institute as a Full Stack Engineer in 2021. Joshua also currently works as a Technical Implementation Analyst (Full-Stack Web Developer) at Juvare.

Joshua S. has a diverse education history. In 2003, they obtained their high school diploma from Northwest Guilford High School. Joshua then pursued their passion for computer programming and home technology integration at The Weaver Academy for Performing and Visual Arts (PVA), where they graduated with a high school diploma in 2007.

Seeking further education, Joshua attended Guilford Technical Community College from 2007 to 2010 and completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree. During this time, they focused on photography and biology. In 2010, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in 2013. Their field of study was business administration with a specialization in information systems operations management.

To expand their knowledge and skills, Joshua joined the Recording Workshop in 2011, where they pursued a core program in audio engineering and music production. Joshua also received an audio engineering and music production certification from Capital University. Furthermore, in 2017, they obtained a pre-licensing and post-licensing certification in real estate from the Superior School of Real Estate.

Continuing their education in the field of computer software engineering, Joshua completed a professional certificate program from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. Additionally, they obtained various certifications from FEMA, including IS-00100.c, IS-00200.c, IS-00230.E, IS-00700.b, IS-00800.D, and IS-02200, all in 2021.

Joshua has also pursued several online certifications. In 2021, they earned a WordPress certificate from Udemy and completed the Google Analytics for Beginners and Advanced Google Analytics courses offered by Google. In 2020, they obtained certifications in JavaScript fundamentals, MySQL fundamentals, CSS fundamentals, and HTML fundamentals from SoloLearn. In 2014, they received bronze and silver certifications in framing from Michaels Stores, Inc.

Lastly, Joshua obtained their REALTOR® certification from the Greensboro Regional REALTORS Association in 2017. In 2023, they achieved a certification in real estate market cycles and trends from the Superior School of Real Estate.
