Jay Karanjia

Jay Karanjia is one of JVM Lending’s talented Senior Mortgage Analysts. As a Senior Mortgage Analyst, Jay understands every aspect of the mortgage pre-approval process and expertly advises and guides clients through the homebuying and refinancing process. Jay reviews complex loan applications and supporting documentation to ensure clients are 100% qualified and comfortable with their desired price range. He provides clients with detailed closing cost scenarios and ultimately matches and pre-approves clients with their ideal mortgage product.

Jay graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Actuarial Mathematics. In addition to managing a full course load, Jay represented UCLA as a Bruin Ambassador at large recruiting and admission events in the greater Los Angeles area. Jay also helped found his own fraternity and served as the Vice President on its Executive Board, all while keeping busy in his free time by participating in numerous mathematics clubs and filling his nights with intramural sports matches. Jay thrives in lively environments where his time management and people skills can shine – making him a natural fit on JVM’s Pre-Approval Team.
