Russ Passig

Russ Passig has extensive experience in various roles related to business systems, revenue operations, sales operations, and human resources. Russ has worked at JW Player since 2017, initially as a Salesforce Technical Architect and later as Director of Sales Operations and Director of Revenue Operations. In their current role as Senior Principal Engineer, Business Systems at JW Player, they are responsible for overseeing business systems. Prior to joining JW Player, Russ worked at Human Rights Watch from 2006 to 2017, where they held positions such as Deputy Director of Global Human Resources and Manager of Global Benefits and HR Operations. In these roles, they were instrumental in implementing various HR systems and processes, including consolidating personnel data, migrating recruiting processes, implementing HR self-service functionality, and automating user provisioning. Before their time at Human Rights Watch, Russ worked at Gerber Technology as an SAP Helpdesk/Operations employee and at the University of Connecticut as a Senior Computer Technician.

Russ Passig obtained a BS in Management Information Systems and Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Russ later pursued an MS in Nonprofit Management with a specialization in International Affairs from The New School, from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their degrees, Passig has also obtained certifications in Salesforce, including Salesforce Platform Developer I in October 2018 and Salesforce Administrator in September 2015.
