Jes Kongtai Asmussen

Jes Kongtai Asmussen has over 25 years of work experience in the banking and financial sector. Jes Kongtai started their career at Unibank in 1994, where they worked as a Student Aid until 1997. Jes Kongtai then joined Nordea Markets, Corporates & Institutions as a Senior Analyst, a role they held until 2006. Jes then joined Handelsbanken Capital Markets as their Chief Economist, a position they held for 16 years until 2022. Currently, they are the Chief Economist at Jyske Bank.

Jes Kongtai Asmussen obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen in 1997. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1990, Asmussen studied Mathematics and Physics at Marie Kruse.
