Abbas Husain

Mr. Abbas Husain has over 23 years of experience across public and private sector organisations like Private Power and Infrastructure Board and multiple IPP(s) in the areas of business development, power operations & maintenance (O&M), project development, project execution management. He joined KE in 2012 and has served in both Generation and Transmission functions as an integral part of KE’s turnaround.

At KE, his major contributions include establishment of BQPS-II, planning of mega transmission projects, adding 200 MW through 4 IPP projects where KE signed long-term PPAs and BQPS-III (900MW) RLNG combined cycle power plant. Mr. Husain holds a BE (Electrical) degree from NED University.
