Trey Borgrud

Assistant Director Of Event Operations at K-State Athletics

Trey Borgrud has a diverse range of work experience in the field of athletics. Trey started their career as a Baseball Operations Intern at the Madison Mallards Baseball Club in 2012. In the same year, they also worked as an Assistant Equipment Manager at the University of the South, where they were responsible for managing athletic equipment and had game day operations responsibilities for multiple sports.

In 2013, Trey worked as an Athletic Event Management Intern at the University of Tennessee, where they coordinated various aspects of intercollegiate athletics. Trey had increased responsibilities for sports such as football, tennis, and soccer, and worked with officials, visiting team coaches, and other departments within the university's athletic department.

Trey then joined the Knox County Parks and Recreation as a Part-Time Field Supervisor in 2015, before moving on to Kennesaw State University as an Athletic Events and Facilities Coordinator. At Kennesaw State, they were responsible for coordinating athletic events and managing facilities.

Finally, Trey joined K-State Athletics in 2017 as an Assistant Director of Event Operations, where they currently work.

Trey Borgrud received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Recreation Management from Carroll University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Trey went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Sport Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied from 2013 to 2014.
