Previously, Baez-Torres worked as a neurologist at Neurology & Movement Disorders Healthcare, PA from January 2021 to June 2022, and at The Compass Clinic from January 2017 to January 2021, focusing on the diagnosis and management of Parkinson's Disease, movement disorders, and dementia, as well as clinical research in these areas. Baez-Torres also served as a neurologist at Florida Hospital Medical Group from November 2009 to December 2016. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine, a neurology residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, fellowships in Movement Disorders and Electromyography at Cleveland Clinic Florida, an MBA from the University of Florida, and a bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico.
