Ruan van Eck has a wide range of work experience in the IT industry. Ruan started their career at Specsoft Software Solutions in 2012, where they worked as a Software Support Consultant and Assistant Network Administrator. In this role, they dealt with support calls from clients and assisted the Network Administrator with IT problems. Ruan also played a role in planning and installing the network cabling in the office.

In 2014, Ruan joined ZAZOO Limited as a Junior IT operations engineer. Ruan'sresponsibilities included providing second-line support for Net1 Mobile solutions and handling day-to-day IT support for the company's employees.

In 2016, Ruan moved on to RCubed Global (Pty) Ltd, where they held the position of Manager until 2019. Ruan'srole involved various tasks across different industries, from sales to IT. Ruan described himself as hardworking, a fast learner, and someone who enjoys meeting new people and traveling.

Ruan joined K2fly in 2019 and held multiple roles within the company. Ruan started as a Senior Consultant for a short period before being promoted to Support & Implementation Manager. In this role, they led software implementations, maintained and strengthened customer relationships, and documented client requirements and enhancements for development. Later, in June 2021, they transitioned to the position of Support & Implementation Product Specialist, where they continued to excel in maintaining customer relationships and supporting software implementations.

Ruan van Eck began their education at Wonderboom High School, where they graduated with a Matric degree in 2008. In 2009 and 2010, they attended the CTI Education Group, where they took Comprehensive Programming Courses. In 2011, they attended CTU Training Solutions and obtained a National Certificate in A+ & N+. In 2017, they briefly attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, studying Applied Project Management in Information Technology.
