Michael T. Horrigan, PMP,CISM has over 40 years of professional experience in the field of Information Technology and Security. Theircareer began in 1980 when they served as a Radio Communications Analyst in the United States Air Force. In 2010, they transitioned to Lockheed Martin as a Cyber Architect, where they were recognized with an Excellence Award for outstanding performance and sustained excellence. In 2013, they joined ManTech as a Cyber Architect and conducted vulnerability assessments, audits, and reviews to assess new system design methodologies. Michael T. then moved to Intel Security in 2014 as a Cyber Security Consultant, where they supervised the McAfee encryption deployment of 40,000 laptops and developed installation and upgrade procedures for multiple McAfee products. In 2016, they joined Oasys International Corporation as a Senior System Engineer, where they designed and developed system requirements and supported Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) operations. That same year, they also joined CSRA Inc as a Senior Project Coordinator/Project Manager and Senior Operations Manager/Team Lead. In 2019, they moved to General Dynamics Information Technology as an Information System Security Officer and Information System Security Officer/Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they joined K2Share as a Program Manager, where they direct the efforts of a cross-functional team supporting the delivery of data visualization products.

Michael T. Horrigan, PMP, CISM has an extensive educational background. Michael T. obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Texas State University between 1982 and 1987. Michael T. then earned an Associate's degree in Radio Communications from the Community College of the Air Force between 1980 and 1982. In 2016, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management (CRM) from Concordia University. Michael T. also holds a number of certifications, including a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA obtained in June 2019, an ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice obtained in July 2018, a Network+ from CompTIA obtained in January 2013, a Security+ from CompTIA obtained in August 2011, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute obtained in February 2020, a Certified Cloud Risk Management Professional from Mission Critical Institute obtained in September 2019, a Certified SAFe 4 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. obtained in September 2019, a CEH from EC-Council obtained in August 2016, and a Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from ISC2 Baltimore Chapter obtained in April 2016.
