Katarzyna Kabacinska

User Experience Researcher at Kabam

Katarzyna Kabacinska has worked as a User Experience Researcher at Kabam since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the Neuroscience, Engagement and Smart Tech Lab from 2018 to the present. In this role, they conducted and led various mixed methods and qualitative research studies, including focus groups, online surveys, behavioral observations, and semi-structured interviews. Katarzyna also collaborated with stakeholders to recruit participants from diverse backgrounds and worked on a cross-national online study on participant burden in technology research. Additionally, they developed and distributed online questionnaires and analyzed study data using Excel.

Katarzyna Kabacinska began their education at The University of British Columbia in 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Systems with a focus on Mind, Language, and Computation. Katarzyna completed their undergraduate studies in 2018. Following this, in 2019, they entered The University of British Columbia again to further their education. Katarzyna is currently working towards obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Experimental Medicine, and is expected to graduate in 2024.
