Shane Nielsen has a strong background in game design and level design. Shane started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Vancouver Film School, where they mentored and taught students about level design philosophy. Shane also assisted an instructor in the Level Design stream and provided constructive feedback on students' work. In 2017, Shane joined Hothead Games as a Game Designer for Killshot Bravo. In this role, they designed and drafted design documents for new game modes, implemented enhancing features, and created region content for the game across multiple modes. Shane then moved on to Kabam in 2019, where they currently work as a Quest Designer for Marvel Contest of Champions.
Shane Nielsen attended Vancouver Film School from 2015 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Game Design with a focus on Game Development.
