Derek Quinn

Derek Quinn has a strong background in operations and fleet maintenance, with over 20 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Derek currently holds the position of Director of Operations at KAG Canada since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Fleet Maintenance, East at the same company starting from February 2022. Derek also worked as the Maintenance Manager at Len Dubois Trucking Inc. from December 2019 to January 2022.

Before that, they held the role of Director of Maintenance at TransX Group of Companies from October 2015 to November 2019 and served as the Shop Manager, Winnipeg from October 2013 to October 2015 at the same company. At Big Freight Systems Inc, Derek worked as the Service Manager from July 1999 to October 2013. Derek started their career as a Technician at Pineridge Trailer & Equipment from 1993 to 1999.

Derek Quinn has a diverse education history. In 2011, they obtained a Lean Supply Chain Professional Certificate from Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Institute. In 2015, they completed several training programs at Cummins Inc. Service Training, specializing in Cummins INSITE ECM Calibration and customer technician training. Derek also underwent specific training programs for the Cummins ISX engine in 2013 and 2010. In 2016, Derek attended the Thermo King Education Center, where they received a degree in Fleet Single-Temp Maintenance, focusing on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician.
