Trina Sandschafer

Trina Sandschafer is currently the Executive Vice President and Design Principal at Kahler Slater. She provides leadership in the firm's strategic plan and guides design intent and clarity on key projects. Trina is also the Director of the Kahler Slater Studio at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Previously, she served as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked as a Design Principal at Booth Hansen. Trina's architectural journey includes roles as an Intern Architect at Kirkegaard Associates, a Design Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois, and a Research Assistant at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Southern Illinois University.
