Susan Nunez

Susan Nunez has a strong background in state and local tax, with experience working at various companies. Susan is currently the Director of State and Local Tax at KLR, where they have been since 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of SALT Senior Manager at the same company. Susan also has experience as a cofounder and General Counsel at Medizyne, LLC from 2014 to 2023. Susan worked as the State and Local Tax Manager at Bunge North America from 2020 to 2021. Before that, Susan served as the STS-SALT Managing Director at BDO USA, LLP from 2018 to 2020. Susan Nunez earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Saint Louis University from 1985 to 1989. Susan then pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the same institution from 1989 to 1992. Finally, they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis from 1992 to 1993.
