Russel Ryan, P.E. has over 13 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Engineering. Russel began their career in 1986 as a Staff/Project Engineer at Dufresne-Henry, Inc., Consulting Engineers in North Springfield, VT, where they were responsible for design, construction inspection, start-up and trouble-shooting. In 1992, they moved to Webster-Martin, Inc., Consulting Engineers in South Burlington, VT, where they reported directly to the division head and frequently performed Project Manager role relative to design execution and construction. In 1996, they became the Project Manager at Living Technologies, Inc. in South Burlington, VT, where they managed the design and construction of alternative (green) wastewater treatment facilities called "Living Machines". In 2000, they moved to Forcier Aldrich & Associates, Inc., where they were a Senior Engineer and Project Manager, and lead designer for a USEPA Superfund study. In 2006, they joined Autodesk, Inc. as a QA Engineer, where they were responsible for Quality and Project Management for each release of Constructware (software). In 2009, they became a Software Quality Assurance Specialist at Competitive Computing, and in 2012, they joined Kahua as a Quality Engineer.

Russel Ryan, P.E. received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont in 1986, having started their studies in 1982.
