Manuel attended Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas, where they obtained a Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Computación (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science) in 2002. Then, in 2010, they furthered their academic journey by enrolling at Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas, where they pursued a Master en Gestión de Proyectos Informáticos (Master's degree in Project Management in Informatics), which was completed in 2011.
