Amy Giver

Amy Giver has a diverse work experience. Amy started their career as an Outdoor Education Coordinator at Prem Tinsulanonda International School, where they scheduled and organized overnight camps with environmental conservation, scientific research, and cultural themes. Amy then transitioned to teaching science at East Side Union High School District, where they incorporated coding lessons into regular science classes. Following that, Amy co-owned Prometheus CrossFit and coached clients through full-body workouts while managing daily business operations. Amy later worked as an Instructor at Coding Dojo, mentoring students through a 14-week bootcamp on web development. Amy then joined PayPal as a Software Engineer, and most recently, they worked as a Data Science Fellow at General Assembly. Currently, they are employed as an Operations Engineer at Kairos Aerospace.

Amy Giver earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in the years 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Learning GraphQL from LinkedIn in September 2019.
