Claire Karafanda is a Clinical Quality Management Coordinator at the Boston Public Health Commission, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Claire served as an intern in the Division for Children & Youth with Special Health Needs at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where development of a Youth and Young Adults with Special Health Needs Advisory Council was mobilized. Educationally, Claire holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Public Health and Sociology from St. Lawrence University. Additional experiences include roles as a core course tutor, patient support specialist, and certified hospice volunteer, showcasing a strong commitment to public health and community service.
