Marsha Griggs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Marsha started their career as a Database Analyst at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2000. Marsha then worked as a Programmer/Analyst at Yale University from 2006 to 2007. Marsha joined Ellucian in 2007 and held positions as a Sr. Technical Consultant and later as a Project Manager until 2015. In 2017, they became a Graduate Assistant at Grand Valley State University. From 2018 to 2021, Marsha worked at Lake Michigan College, where they held various roles including Institutional Research Analyst/Programmer, Banner ERP Manager, and Director of Enterprise Solutions. In 2022, they became self-employed through MDG Consulting LLC before joining Kalamazoo College as the Director of Administrative Computing in 2023.

Marsha Griggs earned a Master of Arts (MA) in English Language and Literature from Grand Valley State University between 2015 and 2018. Marsha also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in CIS from Davenport University from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their degrees, Marsha Griggs holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in April 2013.
