Benjamin Groessing

Benjamin Groessing has had a diverse range of work experiences. Benjamin is currently working as a Group Lead at Canva, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, they were the Cofounder and CEO of Kaleido AI, which was later acquired by Canva. In this role, they focused on making visual AI accessible to everyone and oversaw product and tech development. Before Kaleido AI, Benjamin founded and served as the Tech Lead at byteq. There, they managed product development and technical architecture for various projects, with an emphasis on user-centered design and scalability. Benjamin's earlier experience includes working as a Research Project Assistant at Vienna University of Technology, where they researched agent-based systems for industrial automation. Their responsibilities included developing distributed solutions and publishing their findings.

Benjamin Groessing obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Software Engineering & Internet Computing from Vienna University of Technology in the years 2014-2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software and Information Engineering from the same university in the years 2010-2013. Their education journey started at TGM - Information Technology, where they pursued studies in Information Technology and Systems Engineering from 2005 to 2010.
