Alyssa Firkser, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience in pediatric therapy, particularly in working with children who are Deaf and/or hard-of-hearing. Currently, Alyssa provides services at Sharper Speech LLC and the Sound Start Babies Program. Expertise includes treatment for children aged 0-3, supporting families to understand hearing loss, and a strong background in various areas such as autism spectrum disorders, articulation, and language development. Previous roles include positions at the Children's Specialized Hospital, Treehouse Pediatric Therapy, and Lake Drive School for the Deaf, complemented by academic experience as a graduate assistant at William Paterson University, where Alyssa earned a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
