Richard Laker

Richard Laker has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Richard is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Kalibrate since May 2021. Prior to that, they held the same role at Patrick Parsons from May 2019 to April 2021. Before Patrick Parsons, Richard worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Utilitywise from January 2017 to February 2019. Richard also served as the Group Finance Director at Augean PLC from September 2014 to December 2016. Richard has extensive experience at Northgate Plc, where they held various roles including UK Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, and Group Accountant from 2004 to 2014. Richard started their career at PwC, where they worked as a Manager from September 1998 to July 2004.

Richard Laker attended the University of Sheffield from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics. In 2001, Richard passed the ACA exams with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). In 2013, they completed an Executive Education program on the Essentials of Leadership at the London Business School.
