James Beal

James Beal has extensive experience in leadership and talent development. James started their career as a Guest Services Department Trainer at Northern Quest Resort & Casino in December 2012. James then became a Learning and Development Instructor in October 2015 and held this role until September 2018. In September 2018, they joined Kalispel Development Company as a Talent Development Manager and worked until May 2020. Currently, they are the Director of Leadership & Talent Development at Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority, a position they have been in since May 2020.

James Beal has a diverse education history. James obtained a certificate in Comprehensive Leadership from Whitworth University in 2023. Prior to that, they completed a certificate program in Management Excellence at Yale School of Management in 2022. James also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Management (Innovation and Change), from Washington State University. James has been an alumnus of Leadership Spokane, where they studied Servant Leadership from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, James earned an Associate's Degree from Spokane Falls Community College.

In terms of additional certifications, James has achieved several qualifications. James obtained the Tribal Human Resources Professional certification from the National Native American Human Resources Association (NNAHRA) in June 2021, and they also hold a certificate in Learning Articulate Storyline 360 from Lynda.com, which they obtained in October 2019. James completed the DDI Facilitator Certification Process Workshop from DDI | Development Dimensions International in February 2019. James is a Certified ServSafe Instructor and a Registered ServSafe Examination Proctor, both obtained in March 2017. James is also a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst/DISC, certified by TTI Success Insights in December 2016. James holds additional certifications including Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) from AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute and ServSafe Manager Certification from ServSafe, both obtained in 2017.
