Tero Hiidenniemi

Tero (Vainio) Hiidenniemi is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Vice President and Head of Tax at Kalmar since April 2024. Prior to this position, Tero worked at Cargotec from May 2018 to April 2024, where roles included Tax Director and Tax Manager. Tero's career began at KPMG Finland, spanning from March 2013 to April 2018, where responsibilities included Tax Advisor and Senior Tax Advisor, focusing on providing comprehensive tax advice to large corporate clients in an international context. Additionally, Tero undertook a secondment as a Senior Tax Adviser at Cargotec and as a secondee at Meijburg & Co, contributing to KPMG's EU Tax Centre. Tero holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Helsinki and has further education from Université Jean Moulin and Aalto University.
