Stephen Walker is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience, currently serving as Chief Deputy in the Day Report Division of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office since July 2019. Walker holds a Deputy position at the same office since August 2017, specializing as a Home Confinement Deputy. With a 29-year tenure as a municipal police officer, including two years as Police Chief of Nitro, Walker also serves as a National Trustee for the West Virginia State Fraternal Order of Police and as Immediate Past President of the West Virginia Fraternal Order of Police. Previous roles encompass Chief of Police at Nitro Police Department, Drug Court Manager, and Community Service Officer with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
