Jeyachchandran (Vije) Visvalingam, Ph.D., has extensive experience in food microbiology and safety, currently serving as Lead Scientist at Kane Biotech Inc. since December 2018, after previously holding positions as Research Scientist and Research Associate at the same company. Prior experience includes roles as a Biologist-Food Microbiology at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and QA/Food Safety Assistant at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. Jeyachchandran has contributed to key research projects aimed at improving the microbiological safety of meat products and has a strong academic background with a Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Manitoba. "Jeyachchandran's" research achievements include co-authoring publications and presenting at conferences, with a comprehensive educational foundation including degrees from Ghent University and KU Leuven.
