Chris Meiers

Chris Meiers is the current VP of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Before that, they were the Saint Martin's University. Chris has also worked at Wayfinders for Higher Education and The University of Texas at Arlington. From January 2020 to December 2021, they were a 2020-21 Fellow at the American Council on Education. Chris has also worked at NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and Washington State University Tri-Cities. At Washington State University Tri-Cities, they were the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs/Deputy Title IX Officer. In this role, they provided strategic vision, leadership, organization, and supervision for the Office of Student Affairs. Chris also led the campus information technology departments as CIO, TRIO Student Support Services, GEARUP Early Outreach, and Student Accounts.

Chris Meiers completed a PhD in Psychology and Research in Education at The University of Kansas. Chris also holds an MS in Educational Administration from Fort Hays State University, as well as a BA in Chemistry from the same school. In addition, they have a Certificate in Institutional for Educational Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
