Derek Ramsay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in real estate and governmental affairs. Since May 2001, Derek has served as Vice President of Realtor Advocacy and Commercial Services at the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS & Heartland MLS, and previously held the role of Director of Missouri Governmental Affairs and Strategic Alliances. Prior to this, Derek worked as a Legislative Assistant for the Kansas City MO City Council from May 1995 to May 2001, supporting City Councilman Ed Ford in planning, zoning, and economic development initiatives. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earned between 1990 and 1995.
