Scott Mercer

Scott Mercer, CISSP, has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security and technical services. Scott started their career at KU Endowment in 1997 as a PC Technician and subsequently held various roles such as Network Administrator, Technical Services Administrator, and currently serves as the Director of Cyber Security & Technical Services. In addition to their work at KU Endowment, Scott also serves as the Head Boys & Girls Bowling Coach at Shawnee Heights USD 450 since 2013.

Scott Mercer, CISSP, earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Washburn University in 1996. Scott obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in January 2022.
