Scott Zerger has extensive work experience in the non-profit and development sector. Scott started their career in 1997 as a Manager & Development Associate at Higher Education Phone Programs, where they managed a team of 50 student development associates. From 2001 to 2003, they served as the Director of Development at Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation, where they successfully identified and solicited development prospects and organized alumni events. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as the Executive Director at Olathe Public Schools Foundation, providing strategic direction and overseeing all aspects of the organization. After that, they served as the Executive Director at Johnson County Library Foundation from 2007 to 2010, where they were responsible for financial operations and grant making. In 2010, they joined KU Endowment as the Senior Director of Corporate & Foundation Development, where they collaborated with various offices and teams to cultivate relationships with companies and foundations supporting the University of Kansas. Additionally, in 2013, they worked as a Presenter at Development Training & Consulting. Scott Zerger has a strong track record of leadership and success in the non-profit and development field.
