Matt Shelton

Matt Shelton has a diverse work experience. Matt started their career in 1991 as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate, Petty Officer 3rd Class in the US Navy, where they managed team training programs, directed the movement of naval aircraft, and maintained cleanliness on the aircraft carrier flight deck.

In 1999, they joined ARUP Laboratories as a Technical Supervisor, a role they held until 2012.

From 2000 to 2007, they served as the Owner and Lead Instructor at A3 Systems.

In 2014, they joined MasteryConnect (Acquired by Instructure) as a Software Developer in Test. In this role, they were responsible for quality assurance tasks, including acceptance testing, bug investigation, and implementation of automated testing suite. Matt also worked closely with Product and Engineering leadership to direct the strategy and growth of two edu-tech applications.

Since 2020, they have been working at Kantata as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst.

From 2014 to 2014, Matt Shelton attended DevPoint Labs to study Ruby on Rails development. Matt did not earn a degree during this period.
