Shahzad Lalani

Shahzad Lalani has had a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Shahzad has worked as a Group Financial Controller at Kantata since April 2020. Prior to this, they were a Senior Finance Manager at Simon-Kucher & Partners from March 2020 to April 2020. Shahzad also served as an Interim Senior Finance Manager at South Western Railway from January 2020 to March 2020. Before that, they had a role as Interim Group Financial Controller at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP in December 2019. From February 2017 to November 2019, they worked as a Senior Finance Manager at RIMES Technologies. Shahzad also has experience as a Financial Controller at Kroll from June 2014 to February 2017. Shahzad began their career as a Finance Associate at Kinetic Partners, Division of Duff & Phelps in December 2011 and worked there until May 2014. Shahzad also gained experience as an Assistant Management Accountant at Acorn Vehicle Solutions from July 2011 to December 2011. Prior to this, they worked as a Reconciliation Accountant at Parabis Ltd from December 2010 to July 2011 and as an Accountant at Hadley Law Associates LLP from May 2010 to December 2010.

Shahzad Lalani completed a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, studying from 2007 to 2010. Shahzad then pursued further education and obtained an Accountant certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in April 2013. Shahzad continued their education at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. In 2016, they also participated in a student exchange program at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, focusing on Business and Culture. Additionally, Shahzad obtained the Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant certification from ACCA in April 2018. Prior to their university studies, they earned an AAT Certification from the Association of Accounting Technician in July 2006.
