Sabrina Ghielmini

Sabrina Ghielmini serves as the Deputy Head of the Office for Gender Equality in the Canton of Bern since May 2021. Additionally, Sabrina has been the Co-CEO of Unpaid Care Work since July 2015. From September 2013 to April 2021, Sabrina worked as a Research Assistant at the Swiss Centre of Expertise in Human Rights, focusing on human rights and economics, and held a similar position at the Centre for Human Rights Studies at the University of Zurich. Prior roles include practicing as a Lawyer in asylum and migration law with Advokaturbüro Gabriel Püntener from August 2010 to January 2020 and a brief internship with the UNHCR in 2010. Sabrina obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Fribourg and a Master's degree in Law from the University of Bern, complemented by a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Diversity and Equality Competence from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
