Christine Martinez is the Director of Case Management at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.
At Kaplan Hecker, Christine works closely with the Managing Attorney’s Office and oversees Kaplan Hecker’s case manager department, including maintaining case staffing and trial preparation. In collaboration with the IT department and Training Manager, she also leads a case manager focused training program on tools, applications and software used for daily case management work product.
Christine joined the firm from Selendy Gay Elsberg, where she worked as a Litigation Paralegal Manager. She managed and supervised the paralegal department, and coordinated case staffing needs and all other administrative items as it related to the paralegal team to provide proper support to the firm. In her time at Selendy Gay Elsberg, Christine also collaborated with various team members to develop and coordinate trainings for the paralegal and operations groups. Additionally, Christine continued to support and lead successful trial teams and build out the paralegal department.
Christine has previous experience as a Senior Litigation Paralegal for Covington & Burlington, where she provided senior paralegal support in preparation for trials involving the energy sector, health care litigation, international trade and trademark infringement. She also worked as a paralegal for Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, where she provided senior paralegal support at numerous trials involving class action, energy sector, health care, and appellate litigations/arbitrations, and managed cases from inception to trial, settlement or appeal.
Christine received her BA from SUNY Stony Brook.
