Mariah Mizbani

Case Manager at Kaplan Hecker & Fink

Mariah Mizbani is a case manager at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP, resident in the New York office. She joined the firm in 2022.

Prior to joining the firm, Mariah worked as a Research Assistant for Emory University’s Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, where she read and compared various feminist legal theory texts from scholars throughout the US to be included in a legal theory publication. She was also a Congressional District Office Intern for the 20th District of New York Representative Paul D. Tonko. Mariah has held various leadership positions, including Committee Director for Emory’s National Model United Nations Conference and Head Delegate for the larger Emory International Relations Association, as well as Transfer Orientation Leader for Emory University New Student Programs.

Mariah received her BA in Philosophy and minor in Persian Language and Literature from Emory University, for which she was awarded the Faramarz and Ziba Taji Yaghmaie Scholarship in Middle East Studies for both the 2020 and 2021 school years.
