Kim Bardakian

Senior Director of Partnerships at Kapor Center for Social Impact

Kim Bardakian is the Senior Director of Partnerships where she identifies partnerships that can help advance the work of the Kapor Center while engaging strategically with corporations, community and civic organizations to increase impact. Prior to this role, Kim was the head of Media Relations at the Kapor Center for over four year’s working with media to promote the work of the center. Before her time at the Kapor Center, she served as the VP of PR and Community Relations for Visit Oakland, where she worked with local, national and international press to showcase all the positive things going on in “The Town.” Previously, Kim worked in-house with a number of growing consumer tech companies including Pandora and Peek. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Maynard Institute, Oakland’s Uptown Business Improvement District and the Mt. Davidson Armenian Cross Council in San Francisco. A native New Yorker, Kim holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She proudly resides in Oakland where she is an avid tennis player and can be seen out and about dining at many of the great Oakland restaurants.
