Andrea Kowalski

As Vice President of Product, Andrea is focused on advancing Kareo’s product strategy in support of the company’s vision & mission. Andrea brings extensive experience in developing and leading product management teams, defining strategic product vision and roadmap, achieving business objectives through product execution, and developing a customer-focused culture. She is passionate about solving problems in the healthcare space and driving disruption through technology to improve the quality of care and drive down costs.

Prior to Kareo, Andrea spent the last 8 years at athenahealth. During that time, she lead product management teams, lead the product development of athenahealth’s transition to the Streamlined athenaClinicals user interface, and lead the product development of athenaClinicals for Hospitals. More recently Andrea started a new team at athenahealth to develop a more customer-centric approach to product development.

An engineer by trade, Andrea started her career as a developer within the financial industry, but quickly realized healthcare was her true passion. Andrea holds a Bachelors of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University and received her Masters of Business Administration from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. When she isn’t disrupting healthcare, Andrea enjoys travelling as much as she can and catching up on her wine studies.
