Rob Reid

Rob Reid is a high technology entrepreneur and bestselling author based in both New York City and San Francisco, California. A former venture capitalist, he was the founder, CEO, and later Chairman of Listen.com, which created & developed Rhapsody – the first online music service to secure full-catalog licenses from all of the major labels. Rob has worked with technology startups as an investor, board member, and formal advisor for over ten years. Companies in his portfolio have included IGN, Surf Air, and Akili Labs. Rob majored in International Relationships at Stanford, later earned an MBA Harvard Business School, and was also a Fulbright Scholar in Cairo, Egypt. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and his books are published by Random House.
