Andrew Ayala

Andrew Ayala currently serves as a Usability Engineer at KARL STORZ VentureONE, focusing on human-centered design in robotic solutions for endoscopic surgery. With extensive experience at Brainlab as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Design Engineer, Andrew has successfully led the development of medical instruments from initial concept to market launch, ensuring adherence to technical documentation standards. Andrew also worked as a Freelance Industrial Designer, providing consultancy in design and prototyping. Andrew's earlier roles include positions at EDAG, designaffairs GmbH, DLR, TU München, and internships at BMW and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, contributing to various projects in automotive and industrial design. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Industrial Design from the Technical University of Munich and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
