Andre Franco Luis

Andre Franco Luis has accumulated extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Andre started their career at Volkswagen AG in 2003, where they worked on their diploma thesis. Andre then joined BMW Group as a Creative Director, contributing to the company's design endeavors from 2005 to 2011. Following this, they transitioned to Tesla Motors, where they served as the Lead Interior Designer for five years. In 2016, Andre joined Karma Automotive LLC, where they held multiple roles, including Manager of Interior & UI/UX Design and Director of Interior & UX/UI Design. After leaving Karma Automotive, they joined Arrival as the Director of Interior Design and was later promoted to Senior Interior Design Manager. Currently, Andre works at Kia America as an Advanced Design Manager, demonstrating their continuous growth and expertise in the field.

Andre Franco Luis began their education at the German School Lisbon, where they obtained their Abitur, equivalent to a high school diploma or A-level, from 1993 to 1995. Andre then pursued a Pre-diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Technische Universität Braunschweig from 1996 to 1997. Finally, they completed their Diploma in Industrial and Product Design at HbK Braunschweig from 1998 to 2004.
