Sebastian Pleschko

Sebastian Pleschko has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Sebastian is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at karriere.at since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked at REWE International AG in various leadership positions, including Chief Product Owner from October 2021 to September 2023, Head of Technology from November 2019 to December 2021, and Head of Operations / RIAG Digital from May 2016 to November 2019. In 2015, they took a break from their career to focus on their role as a father. Before that, they worked at AboutYou GmbH as the Head of Business Intelligence Development from August 2014 to September 2015, and as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer from October 2013 to August 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Web Developer at Finanzcheck from December 2012 to October 2013. Sebastian also briefly served as the Head of Development at Pictorama GmbH from September 2012 to December 2012. Sebastian started their career as a Web Developer at ICANS from January 2010 to September 2012, and at Northworks GmbH from September 2007 to January 2010.

Sebastian Pleschko attended Technische Universität Wien from 2000 to 2006, majoring in Engineering Physics. Sebastian is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Digital Transformation and Data Science at WU Executive Academy, starting in 2022. Sebastian also obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in 2018.
