Leikny Gammelmo has extensive experience in land management and surveying, currently serving as a Board Member for NORSK KARTMUSEUMS VENNEFORENING and a National Delegate for Commission 7 at FIG - International Federation of Surveyors. Since November 2018, Gammelmo has held the position of Chief Engineer at the Norwegian Mapping Authority, focusing on cadastre and real property. Other roles include serving as an Editorial Board Member for Tidsskrift for eiendomsrett and leading a project to enhance the quality of property registers. Gammelmo’s previous positions span from Fagsjef at Tekna Samfunnsutviklerne to a Ph.D. candidacy at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, all contributing to a strong foundation in geomatics and public administration related to property formation. Education credentials include a Cand. agric. degree in Property Management from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and further studies in land surveying from the University of Oslo and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
