Brent Young

Brent Young has a strong background in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Brent is currently working as the Director of Governmental Market Access at Karuna Therapeutics since January 2023. Prior to this, Brent held various positions at Global Blood Therapeutics from 2017 to 2023, including Director of Government Accounts and East Payer Lead, Senior Account Director, and Senior Medical Science Liaison. From 2015 to 2017, they served as Specialty Oncology Manager at AMAG Pharmaceuticals. Brent also gained experience as an Executive Distributor at Genetics Lab Technology from 2013 to 2015 and as a Healthcare Consultant at Synergy Healthcare Consulting from 2010 to 2013. Brent was the Principal Owner of Stone Crest from 2006 to 2010 and worked as a Regional Manager at Scios (Johnson & Johnson) from 2000 to 2006. Brent started their career as a Division Manager at Elan Pharmaceuticals (Neurex Corp) from 1998 to 2000 and as a Clinical Oncology Specialist at Genentech BioOncology, Inc. from 1996 to 1998.

Brent Young holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Murray State University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a concentration in Marketing/Finance at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
