Paul Yeung, MD, MPH has a diverse and extensive work experience. Paul is currently the Senior Vice President of Clinical Development at Karuna Therapeutics since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Executive Director of Clinical Development at AbbVie from 2018 to 2022. Paul also served as the Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 2007 to 2020. Additionally, they held positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals as the Clinical Development Leader from 2013 to 2018, at Actelion as the Vice President and Head of US Clinical Science from 2007 to 2009, at Wyeth (now Pfizer) as the Senior Director of Clinical Research from 2001 to 2007, at Yale University School of Medicine as the Assistant Clinical Professor from 2001 to 2006, at Bristol Myers Squibb as the Director of Clinical Research in 2000, at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as a Clinical Associate from 1997 to 2001, and at AstraZeneca as the Associate Director of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs from 1997 to 2000.
Paul Yeung, MD, MPH completed their education at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where they earned their M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) degree. Additionally, they obtained an M.P.H. (Master of Public Health) degree from the same institution. Paul then pursued an Internship, Residency, and Fellowship at the Yale University School of Medicine. In terms of certifications, Dr. Yeung has achieved the designation of Diplomate from both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Paul also holds Medical Licensure from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania - Board of Medicine and the State of Connecticut.
