Digital Community Director at Kaseya

Katie Freedman has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Katie began their career as an Assistant Manager at Sylvan and DuBose Jewelers in 1998. Katie then worked as a Sales Associate at Foodservice Resources and Solutions from 2002 to 2003. In 2004, they became an Assistant Manager at V2V before transitioning to the role of Store Manager and Buyer at Palm Avenue - a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store in 2005. From 2008 to 2009, Katie served as a Customer Experience Manager at Banana Republic. Katie then joined Kicks Exceptional Shoes as a Manager from 2009 to 2010.

In 2010, Katie started their career in the IT industry, joining Unitrends as a Lead Generation Representative and later being promoted to Inside Sales Manager. Katie also served as the Social Media & Community Manager at Unitrends, where they managed social media strategies and received the Advisor Award for their contributions to the IT community.

In 2019, Katie joined Kaseya as a Global Social Media Manager, where they developed and executed social media strategies to drive partner engagement and brand awareness for various Kaseya brands. Katie then became the Digital Community Director, launching and managing the Connect IT Community, which later merged with the Datto Community and was rebranded as the Kaseya Community. Katie represented Kaseya on Reddit during the Kaseya/Datto merger.

Throughout their career, Katie has demonstrated a strong focus on customer experience, community management, and relationship building.

Katie Freedman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Retail Management from the University of South Carolina.
